We couldn't ask for a better day for baseball. Well, I guess we could--Cristian Guzman could be on the bench. Anyway, it's a beautiful day and a perfect environment for the Nats to continue their assault on the wild card.
Any realistic strategy for winning this four-game series involves winning this game. Livan Hernandez has been spotty of late, and he certainly must be tired given all the innings he's pitched this year, but we really need him to step up and pitch well today. With the Marlins' fourth starter going today, we have to win this game.
