In the top of the fourth, Patterson gave up an infield single to Easley and
a bloop single to Pierre for the Marlins' second run. You can't blame
Patterson for that. 2-1 Marlins.
It is a problem, though, that Patterson has thrown 72 pitches in only four
innings. At this pace, he won't make it through the seventh inning.
Please, Frank, leave Mike Stanton on the bench!
