Injuries

The All-Star break will hopefully give the Nationals time to heal some of their wounds. Nick Johnson and Ryan Church should be back after the break, but Junior Spivey is out for 2-3 months, which probably means the rest of the regular season. With Tony Blanco and Cristian Guzman out with various maladies, the Nats don't have much of a bench, at least for the moment. One might think that the Nats should call up someone from the minors, but Nationals Farm Authority (natsfarmreport.blogspot.com) demonstrates that there isn't much there. The Farm Authority is a GREAT site--go visit it!
