The Nationals' pitchers have a very hard time bunting. With men on first and second and no outs in the bottom of the third, Esteban Loaiza struck out trying to bunt.
But Brad Wilkerson bailed out Loaiza by tripling in both runs. Unfortunately, neither Jose Vidro nor Jose Guillen could drive in Wilkerson. Both hit weak pop ups to short left field.
